Ye Zhaofeng’s artistic practice is rooted in the profound tradition of academic realist painting, while critically examining how the wave of technological advancement reshapes contemporary life. His paintings act as calm observers, gazing into the landscapes of modern existence shaped by digital technologies: human relationships are continuously reconfigured through the touch of fingertips on screens, while familiar spaces of existence become increasingly ambiguous amid the entanglement of the virtual and the real.
